Our AML and Verification Commitment
This page sets out, in plain language, how Moneymask Casino verifies who you are, monitors transactions, and complies with the anti-money-laundering rules attached to our Curaçao eGaming licence. We keep it direct: what we ask for, when we ask, and what happens if a check is not completed.
Our AML Policy in Brief
Moneymask Casino operates under licence 8048/JAZ2023-045 issued by Curaçao eGaming, and that licence binds us to the anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing framework of our licence jurisdiction. We treat those obligations as operating requirements, not paperwork: our compliance function carries out risk assessments, staff training, and reporting duties on a fixed schedule, and every control on this page exists because the licence requires it or because it genuinely reduces risk.
Gaming should be entertainment funded from your own lawful money. Our job under the AML framework is to be reasonably satisfied of three things: that you are who you say you are, that your funds come from a legitimate source, and that the activity on your account matches what a recreational player would reasonably do. Where any of those three is unclear, we are obliged to look closer.
When We Verify Your Account
Verification is not one single event. Different checks trigger at different points, so you can deposit and play immediately after registering, and we complete full verification before your first withdrawal.
Identity checks confirm your name, date of birth and nationality. Address checks confirm where you live. Payment checks confirm that the cards, e-wallets or crypto wallets you use actually belong to you. We run all three before releasing a first withdrawal, and again at any point where thresholds or behaviour require it.
- At registration: age check and screen against restricted and sanctioned lists. You must be at least 18 and not resident in a restricted country.
- Before your first withdrawal: full identity verification, proof of address, and payment method ownership. Processing takes up to 48 hours.
- At thresholds and on review: additional checks may apply to larger transactions, unusual patterns or accumulated deposits above the levels set in our risk policy.
How Verification Works Step by Step
We deliberately keep the process short. Most players complete the steps below in under ten minutes, and our compliance team clears straightforward submissions well inside the 48-hour window.
We accept a passport, national ID card or driver's licence, a bank statement or utility bill dated within the last three months as proof of address, and, where applicable, a photo of the payment card showing the first six and last four digits only, or a screenshot of your e-wallet or crypto wallet showing ownership.
- Log in and open the verification section of your account, or follow the link in the email we send when a document is requested.
- Upload a clear, uncropped photo or scan of each requested document, with all four corners visible and no glare.
- Our compliance team reviews the submission and either clears it or comes back to you with a specific request.
- Once approved, your account is marked verified and withdrawals are released according to your method.
How your documents are protected
Your documents sit in an encrypted, access-controlled repository. Only trained compliance staff with a documented business need can view them, every access is logged, and we never share verification data with third parties except where the law or our regulator compels it.
Source of Funds Requests
Occasionally we ask where the money itself came from. We do not do this to be intrusive; we do it because the licence framework requires us to connect significant play with a plausible lawful origin of funds.
Typical triggers include deposits or net deposits well above our ordinary thresholds, sustained high-value play that sits outside what your stated profile would suggest, or patterns that our monitoring system flags for review. Acceptable evidence is usually simple: payslips, bank statements, a tax return, evidence of a property sale or inheritance, or business accounts if you play as a company officer.
A source-of-funds request is not an accusation. In the great majority of cases a single document resolves it, your withdrawal is released, and nothing further is asked for.
Monitoring Deposits and Withdrawals
Crypto payouts are typically processed within 1 hour of a cleared verification, with fiat bank transfers and PayID withdrawals settling in 1-3 business days. Splitting one large withdrawal into many small ones to avoid thresholds does not work: our monitoring treats structuring as a red flag, not a workaround.
| Item | Our standard |
|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | 20 AUD |
| Minimum withdrawal | 30 AUD |
| Maximum withdrawal | 7,500 AUD per week |
| Crypto withdrawal time | Up to 1 hour, fully processed within 24 hours |
| Fiat withdrawal time | 1-3 business days |
| Fees | None charged by us |
If Verification Fails or Stalls
We would rather resolve a failed check than punish it, but our licence leaves no room to leave accounts unverified indefinitely. If a document is missing, illegible, expired or inconsistent with your account details, we contact you first and give you a reasonable window to fix it.
If you do not respond, or the documents cannot establish your identity or lawful source of funds, we take proportionate steps in escalating order.
- Withdrawals are held while the request is outstanding. Your deposited balance is never confiscated solely because verification is pending.
- If documents remain outstanding after the window we set, deposits and play may also be suspended until the account is verified.
- If we cannot verify identity at all, or we find deliberate false documents, the account is closed, funds follow our licence's unclaimed-funds and forfeiture rules, and the matter is reported to the authorities where required.
- You can appeal any decision by contacting [email protected], quoting your account reference.
How Long We Keep Your Records
We retain verification documents and transaction records for a minimum of five years after your account closes, because the AML rules of our licence jurisdiction require that retention period and give regulators the right to inspect those records at any time.
Retention also works in your favour: if a dispute about a withdrawal or a payment method ever arises, the record settles it. When the retention period expires and no regulator request applies, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the documents. You may request deletion of marketing data at any time, though identity and transaction records must remain for the statutory period.
